Fugitive Dito Mahendra Is On Vacation In Bali When Arrested By Bareskrim

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police arrested Dito Mahendra while in a villa in the Canggu area, Bali. The fugitive in the illegal possession of firearms (senpi) is said to be on vacation.

"Yesterday at around 14.30 WIT, DM was successfully secured by field members in a villa," said Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, Friday, September 8.

During the arrest, investigators did not have any trouble. Because, Dito did not fight or cooperate.

Djuhandhani said that no one else was with Dito during the arrest. The fugitive in the illegal possession case admitted that he was on vacation in Bali

"Sendiri. Lagi liburan," sebutnya.

During the arrest, investigators found one rifle. In total, there are currently 10 rifles that have been confiscated and used as evidence.

"It's on us, we also got another firearm," said Djuhandhani.

Dito Mahendra is known to have 9 illegal rifles. In detail, a clock 17 revolver S&W, a 19 Zev Clock pistol, and an Angstatd Arms pistol.

Then the Noveske Reflections, AK 101, the Heckler & Koch G 36 rifle, the Heckler & Koch MP 5 pistol, and the Walther air rifle.

In this case, Dito Mahendra is threatened with life imprisonment or 20 years. Dito can be charged with Emergency Law number 12 of 1951.
