Dozens Of People Damaged To Gas Stations At Jalan Magelang Sleman And Aniaya Officers

Dozens of unidentified people damaged facilities and beat officers at one of the Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) on Jalan Raya Magelang, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, in the early hours of Thursday (7/9).

Area Manager Communication, Relations, & Corporate Social Responsibility Regional Central Java PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Brasto Galih Nugroho said the incident was estimated to have occurred around 02.00 WIB.

"From the reports we received, the actions carried out by dozens of people not only persecuted a supervisor and two operators, but also damaged gas station facilities, namely CCTV or surveillance cameras, office facilities, and a number of gas station documents," Brasto said in a statement quoted by ANTARA, Friday, September 8.

The gas station has also coordinated with the police and the incident is currently being handled by the Sleman Police.

Brasto revealed that the action was allegedly triggered by a disappointed party for reporting an unusual subsidized Biosolar purchase transaction at a gas station.

A number of four-wheeled vehicles used for the transaction were blocked by the police number by the MyPertamina dimicrosite system.

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga can indeed block the police number of vehicles suspected of conducting suspicious purchases of subsidized Biosolar fuel.

After being blocked, the vehicle cannot fill up fuel at all Pertamina gas stations because the MyPertamina Proper Subsidy system has been integrated nationally.

"We appreciate the gas station that has actively reported the police number of vehicles allegedly carrying out a violation or misuse of subsidized fuel," said Brasto.

He explained that gas station operators can check the suitability of the police number listed in the QR code Subsidy of Right MyPertamina.

"If there is a discrepancy, then the gas station can report to Pertamina Patra Niaga," he said.

However, if it is proven that they have committed a violation in the purchase of Biosolar subsidized, then it can impose coaching sanctions on related gas stations.

The coaching sanctions are in the form of warning letters and suspension of fuel distribution for up to 30 days which has an impact on gas station income. He hopes that the sanctions can provide a deterrent effect to gas stations so as not to repeat mistakes.

Central Java Region PT Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to optimize subsidized fuel purchase transactions using the MyPertamina Proper Capitalite to minimize acts of misuse of subsidized fuel and assist the Government in ensuring that the distribution of subsidies is more targeted.

"If the public finds indications of misuse of subsidized fuel, such as the subscription not in accordance with the provisions and sale of subsidized fuel to the industry, please report it to the nearest police force," said Brasto.
