JAKARTA - Social media activist Permadi Arya alias Abu Janda has completed an investigation regarding alleged hate speech against Natalius Pigai. He was examined for 4 hours and asked dozens of questions.

"The examination took about 4 hours, 20 questions," said Abu Janda at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Thursday, February 4.

Abu Janda finished undergoing an examination at around 14.00 WIB. During the examination, he was accompanied by two of his lawyers.

"So it turns out that today I just checked in the context of an interview, so this is still in the process of investigating the interview," he said.

During the examination, Abu Janda said that he explained that the word evolution he wrote was only to question the capacity of Natalius Pigai. This is because previously the Papuan activist appointed General (ret) AM Hendropriyono.

"So I have explained to the police that what was not included in the viral one was that my tweet stems from a tweet by Natalius Pigai which insulted a general who is already a senior retired army officer who has greatly contributed to this country," he said.

"So that is when I tweeted in the context that I was defending the general pack (Hendropriyono), explaining the general's capacity, capacity, yes, again, so when I used the word evolution before the word evolution there was the word capacity, so I asked Natalius Pigai in the context. , "he continued.

For information, this case started when Abu Janda wrote in his tweet the word 'evolution' which was considered an insult to Pigai. So, it was reported by the Chairman of the Legal Division of the KNPI DPP, Medya Rischa Lubis.

This tweet was uploaded to the @ permadiaktivis1 account on January 2. At that time, Abu Janda commented on the debate between Pigai and Hendropriyono.
