BANDA ACEH - Satreskrim Polres Gayo Lues is investigating the discovery of the body of a woman suspected of being a murder victim on Jalan Bur Tukuk or the mountainous area of Leme Village, Blangkejeren District, Gayo Lues Regency, Aceh.

"The alleged murder crime is still under investigation," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Gayo Lues Police, Iptu M Abidinsyah, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 6.

Abidinsyah explained that the identity of the woman's body was known as Kaspure (32), a resident of Gumpang Lempuh Village, local district. It was first found by witness Hasbullah Aman Hendri (48), on Monday (4/9) at around 14.00 WIB when he returned from his garden.

"Witness Hasbullah saw a woman lying on the side of the road covered in blood and wearing a helmet, then immediately notified to the police," he said.

After receiving the information, the Satreskrim function picket personnel and the Gayo Lues Police identification unit immediately went to the location to secure and conduct a crime scene investigation.

Then, he said, the woman's body was immediately evacuated to Muhammad Ali Kasim Hospital for a post-mortem et repertum as well as further investigation.

Abidinsyah said that 23 stabs were found from the victim's body and two bruises on the front chest and the victim's hands.

"The identity of the perpetrator is still under investigation, the provisional suspicion is a criminal act of murder," said Iptu M Abidinsyah.
