Today President Jokowi Leads ASEAN Meeting Series With Partners

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to lead the entire series of meetings with partner countries on the second day of the ASEAN 43rd Summit at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, Wednesday, September 6.

The Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta informed that President Jokowi's activities began a bilateral meeting with Bangladeshi President Mohammed Shahabuddin in the Kakatua Room, JCC.

After that, President Jokowi is scheduled to lead the 26th ASEAN-RRRT Summit which is attended by ASEAN state leaders together with the Premier of the People's Republic of China (RRT) Li Qiang.

Sequentially, President Jokowi will also lead the 24th ASEAN-Korean Republic Summit which was also attended by the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol and the 26th ASEAN-Japan Summit along with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

During the day, President Joko Widodo together with ASEAN country leaders are scheduled to attend the 26th ASEAN Plus Three (APT) Summit.

The meeting, which was held in the JCC Cenderawasih 3 Room, will also be attended by the leaders of the RRT countries, the Republic of Korea, and Japan.

On the sidelines of the meeting, President Jokowi is also scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with United States Vice President Kamala Harris.

Furthermore, President Jokowi and state leaders will take part in the 11th ASEAN-US Summit which will also be held in the Cenderawasih 3 Room, JCC.

President Jokowi continued his agenda by attending the ASEAN-Canada Summit with ASEAN country leaders and Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.

President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo together with state leaders and assistants will attend the dinner as the agenda for closing the second day of the ASEAN 43rd Summit.
