A number of residents said they were happy with the opening of the bridge because the trip had become smoother and faster. One of the residents who every day crosses the bridge Langgeng Widodo said he was happy because the trip was faster.

"As a Karanganyar resident who passes to Solo almost every day, I welcome the opening of the Jurug Bridge type B. He said that when the bridge was still being repaired, he only dared to cross the small Solo-Karianganyar bridge if he was riding a motorcycle.

"I dare to pass on the bridge next to it, but if I take my car, I often pass the ring road or ring road, especially if the hours are busy. But after the bridge is opened, maybe I will continue to pass there, because it is close and the travel time is shorter," he said.

Another resident Haryono also admitted that he was happy with the opening of the Jurug B Bridge.

"Because yesterday's lane was crowded with vehicles because the repair of the Jurug Bridge has now returned to normal and smoothly. Thank you to the Solo City Government and the mayor (Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka)," said the UNS employee.

Previously, Construction Manager of PT Baja Titian Utama, Central Java Area, M Fathoni Jalaludin, said that the construction of the Jurug B bridge had been completed 99 percent.

In terms of infrastructure, the bridge has been completed. The completion remains only to leave road markings, lighting, and parks.

After the revitalization, the bridge width increased by about 2.5 meters, from 7 meters to 9.5 meters. In addition, the bridge is claimed to be able to last up to 100 years and be earthquake resistant.

"The strength starts from design, material quality, the work refers to passing traffic. So it has been calculated against earthquake resistance and passing vehicles," he said.
