TNI-Polri Ready To Secure Vice President's Visit To Aceh

BANDA ACEH - TNI and Polri personnel stated that they are ready to carry out security duties for the working visit of the Vice President (Wapres) Ma'ruf Amin.

"The TNI and Polri are committed to carrying out the task of securing the Vice President's visit to Banda Aceh professionally and responsibly," said Iskandar Muda Military Commander Major General Novi Helmy Prasetya in Banda Aceh, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 5.

As the Commander of the Integrated Joint Task Command (Pangkogasgabpad), he has also given an operation order in order to secure the Vice President's working visit.

The operation order was conveyed at the Security Coordination Meeting which was held at the Iskandar Muda Kodam Headquarters on September 5, 2023 and was also attended by the Aceh Police Chief and the Main Official (PJU) of the Iskandar Muda Regional Military Command and PJU Aceh Police.

The VVIP security operation for the working visit of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin will involve TNI personnel, Polri, and other security elements to ensure the continuity of the event runs safely and smoothly.

In addition, efforts to prevent and control potential security disturbances will also be the main focus of the operation.

Pangdam IM also emphasized that the VVIP security operation is a new operation, although VIP security operations have often been carried out, the concepts and patterns of operation are always updated.

Pangdam Iskandar Muda also ordered all TNI Polri units, who are involved in the Security Task Force to continue to make joint and integrated security efforts in order to maintain regional stability and security and safety of the entire series of working visits of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.
