Democrats Ask Anies To Change The Name Of The Change Coalition, PKS: No Patents Yet, It's OK

JAKARTA - PKS politician Jazuli Juwaini responded to the Democratic Party asking for the presidential candidate for the Change Coalition for Unity (KPP) Anies Baswedan and his supporting political parties to change the name of the coalition. The reason is, the Democrats consider the name change to be the ideas and ideas launched by the party bearing the Mercy Star symbol. According to Jazuli, anyone can use the term change because there is no patent from the name of the coalition. Even so, PKS hopes that brotherhood relations will still be closely related to the Democratic Party. "If the term is relative, as long as there is no patent, it's okay. But in my opinion, PKS in general, prioritizes how to make the national company strong, even though it's different, even though it's not together in the coalition. That's what PKS wants," said Jazuli at the DPR Building, Monday, September 4. Jazuli assessed that the energy of the nation's children should not be wasted in vain for tiring things. Most importantly, he said, even though the direction of support is different, the spirit of diversity must still exist so that it is not easily divided. "Speek, later there will be foreign parties. I don't say which country, who wants to pit each other between the nation's children, finally we are busy between the nation's children, we forget to build the nation. Indonesia is a big nation, Indonesia is a rich nation, a rich country, how the potential of the nation's children is different and so on. That's the meaning of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, united," said the chairman of the PKS faction of the DPR. Previously, the Democratic Party asked Anies Baswedan and his supporting political parties to change the name of the coalition after officially leaving the Coalition for Change (KPP). The request was made after Anies chose PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin as his companion in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. Member of the Upper House of the Democratic Party, Syarief Hasan, claims that the idea of changing is the idea of his party which will continue to be a Democratic mission in the future. "Ide Change is the original of the PD (Democratic Party) so that it remains the theme of the PD's future mission," said Syarief, Sunday, September 3.

Syarief emphasized that the Democratic Party had echoed 14 agenda changes that were directly conveyed by the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). Therefore, he suggested that the coalition political parties supporting Anies seek a new name. "It's better if it's another name," said Syarief.
