Allegations Of Corruption At The Ministry Of Manpower Called KPK Occurred When Cak Imin Served

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has uncovered allegations of corruption in the procurement of the Indonesian labor protection system (TKI) at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) occurred when Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin took office. This familiar practice was said to have occurred in 2012.

Cak Imin is known to have served as Minister of Manpower (Menaker) for the 2009-2014 period. At that time, he was part of the United Indonesia Cabinet II in the era of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Returning to Asep, he said, investigators may in the future summon Cak Imin. Because, everyone suspected of being related to the case will be questioned.

"Why? Because we have to get as clear information as possible so that there is no side with A accusing person B, then C accuses person B and then we don't ask for information, it's strange," he said.

"So everyone involved mentioned by the witnesses and found in the evidence we will ask for information," continued Asep.

As previously reported, the KPK said that there were three suspects named in the corruption case at the Ministry of Manpower. Although the KPK has not yet submitted it, the Secretary of the Planning and Development Agency of the Ministry of Manpower I Nyoman Darmanta is reportedly involved.

The value of the information system procurement project that is suspected to be the result of the perpetrators reached around Rp. 20 billion. Deputy Chairman Alexander Marwata said that this system was allegedly corrupted until it could not be used to monitor migrant workers.
