JAKARTA - PKB Deputy Chairperson Jazilul Fawaid stated that his party would decide on an offer from the NasDem Party to work together to support Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) in the 2024 presidential election, on Friday, September 1 afternoon. A decision related to this will be announced after the PKB DPP and the Syuro Council and the PKB Tanfidz Council held a Plenary Meeting in Surabaya, East Java, at 15.00 WIB today. "This morning the forum decided to welcome the cooperation offer with the NasDem party. Its name is the cooperation offer, the details of the cooperation, when the cooperation will be inaugurated, it is waiting for an expanded meeting in Surabaya later," said Jazilul at the PKB DPP Office, Cikini, Jakarta, Friday, September 1. Originally, PKB would determine further steps related to political cooperation for the 2024 presidential election at the PKB DPP plenary meeting this morning. In particular, regarding NasDem's offer to pair Anies with Cak Imin.

However, because the discussion was quite tough, the meeting was expanded by involving the Syuro Council and the Tanfidz Council which will be held at Grha Gus Dur PKB East Java this afternoon.

"That was a tough thing to discuss earlier. But earlier it was decided that this forum needed to be expanded to make that decision," said Jazilul.
