Towards A Demographic Bonus, Ganjar Encourages Indonesia To Send Skilled Labour To LN

Sending skilled workers abroad for job internships is the right choice in dealing with demographic bonuses. In addition to improving the quality of human resources, it can also solve poverty problems.

This was conveyed by the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, after releasing 34 students from Central Java who will have an internship in the Czech Republic, at his official residence, Thursday, August 31. They are facilitated by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin).

"This is a program from Kadin that I think is good, these children are from Polytechnic and then they will have an internship in the Czech Republic. The internship is not seeing, but working is actually a work contract," said Ganjar.

Of the dozens of students who departed, on average they came from ATMI Solo. Some came from UGM vocational schools and several polytechnics in Central Java.

They will have a job internship at the Car Skolda, a big automotive company that is quite legendary. Ganjar hopes that they can absorb as much knowledge as possible because it is an experience that will not be repeated.

"The point is that the link between universities, vocational, polytechnics is facilitated by Kadin and then from the Czech Republic is directed and cooperates, the cooperation is very profitable for us," he said.

Ganjar said, in the context of the demographic bonus, the choice of sending skilled workers is appropriate. Because Indonesia only needs to prepare good human resources to be sent to work abroad.

"Well, we actually need to multiply these programs. It is important to replicate it so that yesterday the President came to SMK is similar," he said.

Meanwhile, Heru Dewanto from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that these 34 Central Java students were part of a total of around 300 students who had been selected. They will join 741 students who are already there.

"This is an extraordinary opportunity, the salary is also Rp. 20 million -26 million nett. So I said this program is not just an internship but changes fate, they have 2 years of internships," he said.
