Father And Son Of Drug Dealer In Bangkalan Arrested By Police

BANGKALAN - Bangkalan Police, East Java arrested drug dealers in one family, namely father and son in a narcotics eradication operation.

"The total number of suspects we have arrested is four people, two of whom are one family, namely the father and son," said Bangkalan Police Chief AKBP Febri Isman Jaya, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 28.

The four suspects are HF(51), RA (34) and MD (20) residents of Jakan Hamlet, Parseh Village, Socah District and IS (38) residents of Dajah Jarat Hamlet, Banyuajuh Village, Kamal District, Bangkalan Regency.

Of the 4 suspects who were arrested, there are 3 people who still have family ties. Namely HF and RA are siblings, and MD is HF's biological child.

"The four suspects who were arrested, two dealers and two users. Three HFs, RAs and MDs are one family," said the police chief.

The evidence that was confiscated, HF and MD, who are 16.03 grams of father and son, were both dealers.

Meanwhile, from RA and IS, 2.25 grams of user status.

Febri said the illicit goods were originally purchased by HF to AM (DPO) for 20 grams for 14 million, with the aim of being circulated with his son.

"From the suspect's statement, the illicit goods business has only been carried out for 2 months. This case was revealed after RA and IS were caught consuming methamphetamine, they were admitted to buying it from MD for 100 thousand," he said.

The suspect was charged with Article 114 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) sub-Article 112 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) Subsidiary to Article 127 paragraph (1) of Law of RI No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
