Defending The Title Of Champion In 2023 PMSL SEA FALL, Alter Ego Ares Again Proud Of Indonesia In Southeast Asia

JAKARTA - The highest caste PUBG esports tournament in the Southeast Asia region, 2023 PUBG MOBILE Super League Southeast Asia Fall or abbreviated as 2023 PMSL SEA FALL, completed its series of events on Sunday 27 August 2023 yesterday, by producing a team from Indonesia Alter Ego Ares as the defending champion.

2023 PMSL SEA FALL has taken place on August 2-27, 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Presenting a total prize with a fantastic value of 250 thousand US dollars or equivalent to Rp3.8 billion, this tournament is the battleground for the 20 most competitive PUBG MOBILE teams in Southeast Asia.

The champions, Alter Ego Ares --membered by mine, Potato, Okta, Alva, Fanatic, and Badru -- started their journey in this tournament with results that were judged according to expectations. Ending the League round in 9th place, Alter Ego Ares still have not managed to strengthen their position at the top of the final round, ending the second final standings in 13th place alone.

However, the dramatic increase in ranking was successfully experienced by Alter Ego Ares thanks to the consistent performance they gave on the third day. At its peak, Alter Ego Ares closed the resistance of 15 other Southeast Asian teams with a total acquisition of 163 points, followed by Thailand's FaZe Clan as 1st Runner Up with 159 points and fellow Indonesian team, Bigetron Red Villains, as 2nd Runner Up with 139 points.

Meanwhile, the Pungggawa Vampire Esports, TonyK, was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) thanks to its slick performance at this event. In addition to the title of defending king in Southeast Asia and cash prizes of 49.5 thousand US dollars or equivalent to Rp757 million, Alter Ego Ares also brought home 1 ticket to the highest PUBG MOBILE caste tournament in the world, 2023 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) which will be held in Turkey.

Tickets to 2023 PMGC were also obtained by 5 other teams, namely FaZe Clan (Thailand), Bigetron Red Villains (Indonesia), XERXIA Esports (Thailand), Morph GPX (Indonesia), and SEM9 (Malaysia).

In addition to the 6 teams mentioned above, there are 5 other teams that also qualified for PMGC 2023 through the 2023 PMGC Country Qualification Points, namely Persija EVOS (Indonesia), Vampire Esports (Thailand), Yoodo Alliance (Malaysia), Dingoz Xavier (Vietnam), and Genesis Esports (Myanmar).

Last April, Alter Ego Ares was also named the 2023 PMSL SEA SPRING champion after beating 19 other Southeast Asian teams. This makes them the only PUBG MOBILE team to successfully defend the Southeast Asian title for 2 consecutive seasons.

Coupled with the gold medal at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia, Indonesia confirmed its position as an unbeaten country at the PUBG MOBILE esports event at the Southeast Asian level throughout 2023.
