JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Social Service Sub-dept. (Sudinsos) has started to establish a public kitchen in the Central Jakarta City Government (Pemkot) office area to provide food intake needs for hundreds of residents of Gang Kober Street, South Petojo Village, Gambir District, victims affected by the fire.

"Public kitchens have been established. We have prepared food and drinks for the victims of the fire. Fast food is given to them," said Head of the Central Jakarta Social Sub-dept., Abdul Salam when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, August 24.

Meanwhile, for the process of providing food to fire victims, the Central Jakarta Social Service Sub-dept. said that his party would provide according to the needs of residents through requests from the sub-district head and the local village head.

"Requests from the village head or sub-district head. For temporary assistance there are 10 boxes of mineral water, 150 psc of mattresses and 100 pcs of blankets given to fire victims from South Petojo residents," he said.

Previously, it was reported that hundreds of residents of Jalan Gang Kober, Petojo Selatan Village, Gambir District, Central Jakarta were forced to lose their homes after the flames devoured their homes in a short time.
