Heartache, In-laws In Solok Stab Son-in-law Using Machetes Repeatedly To Death

Solok Police arrested the perpetrator suspected of being his own son-in-law, causing the victim to die in Nagari Sungai Nanam, Lembah Gumanti District, Solok Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra).

The Head of the Lembah Gumanti Police, Iptu Edi Elison, confirmed that Efendi (61), the perpetrator of the persecution of a man named Masrizal (35), had been arrested.

"Yes, it is true that there is a case of abuse against a man who is his own son-in-law. We have secured the perpetrator," said Edi in Arosuka, West Sumatra, Wednesday, August 23, which was confiscated by Antara.

He explained, based on the report obtained, the alleged abuse occurred on Tuesday, August 22 at 22.00 WIB.

The motive for the abuse carried out by the victim's in-laws was because he felt hurt that his own son-in-law did not respect him.

"The criminal act of persecution has resulted in the victim's death," he said.

The perpetrator is suspected of having slashed the victim's head using a machete many times.

After that the victim was immediately rushed to the Asah Panjang Health Center. However, the victim could no longer be saved and was declared dead.

"For this incident, a local resident of Jamahardi Maulana (43) reported the incident to the Lembah Gumanti Police on Wednesday at 00.00 WIB," he said.

For his actions, the perpetrator was entangled in Article 338 in conjunction with 354 of the Criminal Code.

In addition, currently the police have visited the crime scene (TKP), recorded witnesses, received police reports, and made a request for a visum et repertum.
