JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri has received the results of analysis of 92 accounts of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) and related parties from the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK). From this analysis, the police conducted a case title on 2 February. But until now, there has been no further information regarding the outcome of the case title.

The title of the case involved several parties, including the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes, Densus 88 Anti-terror, and the PPATK.

The Densus 88 Anti-terror was involved because there was a suspicion that there was a connection with the flow of funds to the terrorism network.

The Director of Crime for the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Brigadier General Andi Rian, who was touched on this matter, was reluctant to explain clearly the reasons for the involvement of the Densus 88 Anti-terrorism. He said that all elements of the alleged criminal violation must be inside.

"All possibilities will be investigated," he said.

Karo Penmas, Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, said that the dozens of accounts were grouped into three when viewed based on owner data. All of them had been involved in the management of FPI.

"The PPATK has analyzed 92 accounts, consisting of the FPI central board, regional administrators, and several individuals related to FPI activities," said Rusdi.

"Of these 92 accounts, there are 18 banks in Indonesia," he said.

"Of course, the results of the PPATK analysis will be input from Bareskrim Polri and of course Bareskrim Polri will follow up on whether or not there are criminal acts related to the flow of funds in the FPI organization," he continued.

Even though he had explained the matter, Rusdi chose not to comment much when he talked about the nominal amount of money in the 92 accounts. The reason is that it is the investigator's authority.

"We cannot expose it, it does not need to be disclosed in public," he said.
