Duet Issues After Ganjar-Cak Imin Meet, PKB: Fate Who Knows

JAKARTA - The National Awakening Party (PKB) positively welcomes the meeting of the presidential candidate (readpres) of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) Ganjar Pranowo and General Chairperson Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin).

However, PKB does not want to make assumptions about Cak Imin's offer to have a duet with Ganjar in the 2024 presidential election.

"When it comes to the duet, so far PKB is still in the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KIR). But it's a matter of mate and destiny who knows," said PKB DPP chairman Daniel Johan, Friday, August 18.

Daniel said that the relationship between Ganjar-Cak Imin and PDIP and PKB had been established for a long time.

In fact, he said, it is possible that PKB will cooperate with PDIP, even though it is currently in a coalition with Gerindra, Golkar, and PAN.

"Cak Imin's relationship with Ganjar and PDI-P has always been good. So, intimacy has been around for a long time. That's a good thing to do," said Daniel.

It is known that Ganjar and Cak Imin met on Friday, August 18, at noon.

This is based on a photo uploaded by Ganjar Pranowo on his Instagram account. However, the location of the two meetings was not mentioned.

In his upload, Ganjar explained that he spoke at length with Cak Imin.

"It's been a long time since I'm talking to Cak Imin for a long time," wrote Ganjar.

Ganjar also gave a red and green love bird to Cak Imin.
