JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Monday, estimates that some areas of Jakarta will rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds with a short duration at night.

Citing data released from ANTARA, Monday, August 7 in the morning, the weather in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands is expected to be sunny

Entering the afternoon, light rain has the potential to flush the East Jakarta area, while rain with intensity will hit South Jakarta.

Meanwhile, sunny weather will decorate the areas of Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands. As for West Jakarta, it is cloudy.

BMKG warns of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds of short duration in East Jakarta and South Jakarta at night.

The areas of Central Jakarta and North Jakarta are predicted light rain, while West Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are cloudy.

Entering the evening, the weather in the areas of West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands is predicted to be cloudy.

Meanwhile, sunny cloudy weather is predicted to cover the entire DKI Jakarta area in the early hours of Tuesday (8/7/2023). The Thousand Islands is expected to be sunny.

The air temperature in Jakarta and the Thousand Islands is generally between 23 and 33 degrees Celsius, with humidity between 55 and 90 percent.
