Circulating Methamphetamine And Ecstasy, Youth In Banjarmasin Arrested

BANJARMASIN - The Narcotics Unit of the Banjarmasin Police arrested a man who worked as an entrepreneur who was caught circulating dozens of methamphetamine packages and 100 more ecstasy pills.

"The perpetrator was caught red for storing and controlling 33 packages of crystal methamphetamine, 96 pills of pink diamond logo and 30 pieces of blue transformer logo and found one digital scale," said Head of the Banjarmasin Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, Kompol Mars Suryo Kartiko, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 31.

He said the perpetrator was arrested on Thursday last week, at around 15.30 WITA, while on Jalan Handayani 2 Kel. Peurus Baru, South Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City.

The perpetrator from the results of the interrogation is known to have the initials AR alias Aria (23) an entrepreneur employee, whose address is Jalan Bumi Mas Raya, Kel. Pekapuran Raya, East Banjarmasin District.

"In addition to confiscating drug evidence, we also secured other evidence, including a cellphone, a motorcycle, and an ATM card," said Head of Drug Investigation Unit when releasing the results of the case.

Kompol Suryo continues to say, Aria is currently under in-depth investigation by investigators to reveal who is the supplier of the illicit goods.

From the results of the investigation, Aria has been named a suspect and immediately detained at the Banjarmasin Police Detention Center for further legal proceedings.

He said, because the weight of the evidence was more than five grams, investigators charged the suspect with Article 112 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.

The Banjarmasin Police Narcotics Unit appealed to all residents to be careful and vigilant so that they do not become victims or perpetrators of drug crimes, because this can harm themselves or many people.
