Intimate With Ganjar, Prabowo Talks About Politics In Indonesia Must Be Family

JAKARTA - Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto ensures good relations with Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo. Although both of them will run as presidential candidates, they will compete in a healthy manner.

He conveyed this when he looked intimate with Ganjar. The two met and hugged while attending the 2023 Belaja Raya event entitled 'Take A Role In Education'.

"Yes, I met (with Ganjar, ed), well. I am in good relations with him," Prabowo told reporters at Post Bloc, Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta, Saturday, July 29.

Prabowo said that healthy competition with Ganjar must be carried out. He even mentioned family politics that still take care of each other even though they both contest each other.

"We compete with health, compete with enthusiasm, compete with kinship, brotherhood, that politics in Indonesia must be political, political among brothers," he said.

Prabowo also joked about the plaid shirt he used at the event. The shirt turned out to have the same motive as the one used by Ganjar.

The Minister of Defense was seen wearing a short-sleeved plaid shirt with a light blue color. Meanwhile, Ganjar wore a red plaid shirt.

Prabowo admitted that he did not make an appointment with the white-haired PDIP cadre. "Yes, coincidentally, there is no coordination," concluded the former Danjen Kopassus with a laugh.
