Head of the Operations Section (Kabag Ops) of the Situbondo Police, Kompol Agus Widodo, said that his party had made improvements to the path that the President was planning to pass, such as street lighting, tree branches on the highway that were disturbing and potentially broken.
"A few days ago we checked the route that the President was planning to pass, and a tree branch was cut which interfered with the road and increased street lighting," said Commissioner Agus, as reported by Antara.
He said the route to be traversed by the President was appropriate, including the route leading to the Salafiyah Safi'iyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School.
Meanwhile, for lane security, said Commissioner Agus, the Situbondo Police deployed all personnel from today until the end of the event to ensure security.
However, Kompol Agus has not been able to confirm the location President Jokowi will visit during his working visit to Situbondo.
