The Police Study The KNPI Report On The Evolutionary Twist Of Natalius Pigai

JAKARTA - Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the National Police's Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, said that his party had received a report from the Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI) against social media activists, Permadi Arya alias Abu Janda.

"The report is yes. What is clear is that all public reports will be accepted, the police will definitely be served by the police to be followed up. We will definitely convey the developments," Rusdi explained at the Police Headquarters, Friday, January 29.

According to him, it is the duty of Police investigators to accept all complaints from the public. Currently, investigators are busy studying the report and all attached evidence.

"We learned first, currently investigators are still studying the report that was prepared yesterday by the reporter, meanwhile. Later on, the progress will definitely be conveyed," explained this one-star general.

Social media activist Permadi Arya alias Abu Janda was reported by the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) to the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit for alleged hate speech with the elements of SARA against Papuan activist Natalius Pigai.

"Our report has been received, thank God, cooperatively from the police. We have also attached the evidence," said the Head of Legal Affairs for the KNPI DPP.

"That today we have reported the twitter account @ permadiaktivis1 which is allegedly owned by Permadi Arya's brother alias Abu Janda," he continued.
