JAKARTA - The West Jakarta Land Office (BPN) inaugurated 60 people appointed in the Direct Systematic Land Registration Task Force (PTSL).
They will be tasked with recording and ensuring the community land parcels both physically and administratively.
Head of West Jakarta Land Office (BPN) Sri Pranoto said that at least 5,000 parcels of land belonging to the community in his area have not been processed for certificates.
"In West Jakarta there are still at least 5,000-6,000 land parcels that have not been certified," he explained as quoted by Antara, Friday, January 29.
The PTSL Task Force, he continued, will be spread across 56 urban villages in West Jakarta to obtain data on community land parcels. Furthermore, the certification process is carried out.
"This is a national strategic program, especially for people who own land but have not been certified, this will be a priority," said Toto.
BPN, continued Toto, has not yet targeted the number of land parcels that are certified for 2021. However, it is moving to record as many uncertified land parcels as possible in the West Jakarta area.
"Meanwhile, on the assets of the DKI Provincial Government, we are currently coordinating and conducting an inventory with the mayor, where will our assets be clustered, mapping, which can be certified later," he added.
West Jakarta Mayor Uus Kuswanto said that his party was also working together through urban village ranks to help the PTSL Task Force record land parcels.
The PTSL Task Force, said Uus, would really help the community to process the land certificates they owned. This makes spatial data in West Jakarta clearer so that it can be processed administratively.
"So, this spatial data can be seen, all existing land, especially in West Jakarta, has been registered. Regarding the matter whether it will become a certificate or not, it can be followed up, whether there is a legal process, family problems that cause it cannot be processed. But overall "All land in Jakarta can be mapped, so that it can be processed further after the administrative process is complete," said Uus.
