Operation Patuh Jaya 2023: Motorcyclists Violate Many Rules, Opposite Flows To Non Standard Helmets Of SNI

JAKARTA - Motorcyclists are said to be still stubborn in traffic. The most common violation is against the current so as not to use helmets according to the provisions.

The data on the violation of motorcyclists is based on the results of the 2023 Patuh Jaya Operation action on the 11th day.

"As for the three most violations by two-wheeled vehicles, 220,031 SNI helmets were not used, against the flow of 60,918 violators, 29,282 minors," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramdhan, quoted on Saturday, July 22.

Not only motorcyclists, the National Police also recorded the type of violation that is often committed by car drivers.

Then, there were also types of violations exceeding the cargo of 6,990 violators and against the flow of 8,184 violators.

"On July 20, 2023, the total number of prosecutions for traffic violations was both ETLE and manual ticketing was 30,159, the number of reprimands was 244,378," said Ramadhan.

For information, Operation Patuh Jaya will be held for two weeks. Starting from Monday, July 10, 2023 to July 23.
