JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has held a second dose of vaccination for a number of figures. The injection of the second dose complements the injection of the first dose which was carried out on January 15, 2021.

The second phase of vaccine injection was held at the hall at the City Hall of DKI. The injection of the two COVID-19 vaccines was given to representatives of 3 target groups. Namely, public officials, health professional organizations, and other community leaders.

Deputy Governor of DKI Ahmad Riza Patria said that there were 21 representatives of figures who underwent the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination under the Sinocac brand.

"Today, I represent the Governor to see the implementation of the second dose of vaccine given to the leaders," said Riza at the location, Friday, January 29.

Riza and the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan are not among the figures who are currently part of the vaccine injection. Because, they have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 and are currently declared cured.

Today's vaccination flow is the same as in the first injection of the first dose, starting from the registration table for data validation and verification, the second table for health screening with interviews and filling out forms for measuring body temperature, blood pressure, providing education to vaccination participants, then moving to the vaccination table and then to the observation desk and recording reporting.

Riza said that no character complained of serious symptoms after being vaccinated against the first dose two weeks ago. Therefore, he hopes that the COVID-19 vaccine will be effective in preventing and breaking the chain of spread of COVID-19.

"Earlier I also asked religious leaders, government, Forkopimda, and the community. There are no serious symptoms. Hopefully the vaccination will go well, it will finish quickly," said Riza.
