Hundreds Of Residents Of Sukabakti Village Garut Become Victims Of PT PNM's Fictitious Money Loans, Police Open Complaints Post

Garut Police opened a complaint post for victims of money loan profit from PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM). Mainly the people who became victims in Sukabakti Village, Tarogong Kidul District, Garut Regency, West Java.

Garut Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Rohman Yonki said the effort was so that it could be processed by law.

"At the police station, we have also opened a complaint post, we are also open at the police station," he told reporters in Garut, West Java, Wednesday, July 19, which was confiscated by Antara.

He said the police had received information that hundreds of residents in Sukabakti Village were caught in a fictitious loan from the PNM financing institution.

However, until now there have been no residents who have officially reported as victims of profiteering for their identity for the purpose of borrowing money from PNM.

"Until now, we are still waiting for those who will report to us, to the police, because this is also our material to follow up on reports," he said.

While waiting for the complaint, the Police Chief said his staff were still trying to collect data to find out the exact number of victims who were harmed by the fictitious loan.

"The point is that there are still updates every day related to this incident. However, we still ensure that the situation there remains guaranteed in terms of security and order," he said.

Laporan dari Kartini selaku Kaur Umum Desa Sukabakti, bahwa berdasarkan hasil pendataan warga yang melapor sebagai korban pencatutan identitas untuk meminjam uang tersebut sebanyak 407 orang.

The case emerged when there was a bill of money to residents from PNM, while residents felt they had never borrowed money, which in the capital loan program averaged Rp. 2 million.

The case was then reported to the village government and a search was carried out to find out who were the victims and also looked for the perpetrators of profiteering the identities of residents.
