The Gambir Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still conducting an in-depth examination of the supplier of methamphetamine obtained by the suspect MAJ.

"The MAJ suspect bought methamphetamine in Bambu City, West Jakarta. He admitted to using methamphetamine himself," he said.

The suspect MAJ has been consuming narcotics of the type of methamphetamine for almost 1 year. The perpetrator does not have a permanent job, he works odd jobs.

"He consumes methamphetamine to increase courage. It has been 1 year of consumption of methamphetamine," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a young man carrying a sharp weapon was arrested by Citra Bhayangkara members under the auspices of the Gambir Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit while on patrol. The perpetrator is known to be unemployed, graduated from SMK.

The perpetrator with the initials MAJ (21) was arrested during a brawl on Jalan Imam Mahmud, Duri Pulo Village, Gambir District, Central Jakarta.
