Minister Of Home Affairs Replaces Acting Mayor Of Banda Aceh And Acting Regent Of North Aceh

BANDA ACEH - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian replaced two regional heads (Pj) in Aceh for a one-year tenure, namely Banda Aceh City and North Aceh Regency.

"Yes, that's right, today ba'da ashar the Governor of Aceh on behalf of the Minister of Home Affairs will make the inauguration," said Aceh Provincial Government Spokesperson Muhammad MTA, in Banda Aceh as reported by ANTARA, Friday, July 14.

Muhammad MTA said the Acting Mayor of Banda Aceh was appointed by the local Regional Secretary Amiruddin. As for the Acting Regent of North Aceh, Mahyuzar.

Amiruddin's previous name was also included in the Banda Aceh DPRK proposal and the Acting Governor of Aceh as a candidate for Acting Mayor of Banda Aceh which was given to the Minister of Home Affairs.

Meanwhile, for North Aceh, the name Mahyuzar was not previously included in the proposal of the Acting Regent, either from the letter of the North Aceh DPRK or the Acting Governor of Aceh. He was immediately appointed by the Minister of Home Affairs.

Mahyuzar once served as Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Aceh Regional Secretariat, and is currently serving as Director of Information Technology and Data for the Central National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN).

In addition to replacing two acting regional heads, continued Muhammad MTA, the Minister of Home Affairs also extended the term of office of four other officials in Aceh, namely Acting Regent of Aceh Besar Muhammad Iswanto, and Acting Mayor of Lhokseumawe Imran.

Then, the Acting Regent of East Aceh Mahyuddin was also extended, then the Acting Regent of Bener Meriah Haili Yoga.

"After the inauguration, the Governor also handed over an extension decree to the Acting Regent of Aceh Besar, Lhokseumawe, East Aceh and Bener Meriah," said Muhammad MTA.
