NTB - The Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) representing West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) will immediately calculate state losses in the alleged corruption case of government capital participation in the Regional Public Company (Perusda) of West Sumbawa Regency.

Head of the Special Crimes Section of the District Attorney's Office (Kejari) West Sumbawa, Lalu Irwan Suyadi, said that his party was preparing all documents for the BPKP auditor's needs for calculation.

"So, the documents requested to be equipped with an auditor have been prepared, we just have to hand it over," he said in Mataram, NTB, Friday, July 14, which was confiscated by Antara.

Irwan explained that the documents prepared for the BPKP auditors related to Perusda activities manage capital participation from the government which starts from 2016-2021.

Including other supporting documents, he continued, such as plans to use the budget and budget business plan.

With the development of such handling, Irwan assured that his party had not been able to determine the role of the suspect before the results of the audit from BPKP.

"We already have a candidate for the suspect, but we can't reveal it yet, we're waiting for the results of the audit," he said.

The West Sumbawa Kejari has set the status of handling this corruption case to the investigation stage based on the results of the case title at the end of March 2023.

The investigation leads to the alleged violation of Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law no. 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code jo. Article 64 of the Criminal Code.

The alleged article relates to allegations of abuse of capital participation in Perusda West Sumbawa.

During the 2016 to 2021 period of management, Perusda was recorded to have received a budget of IDR 7.2 billion. There is a distribution of profits regulated in the capital participation.

However, in that six-year period, Perusda was recorded as only able to share a profit with local governments of Rp. 386 million. This nominal is far from the rules of the agreement in capital participation.
