6 Pacitan Residents Allegedly Exposed To Antraks

Six residents in the Punung District, Pacitan Regency, East Java, suffered from illness with symptoms similar to antrax or antrax suspect.

This finding refers to a report from the Gondasari Health Center in Punung District, Thursday, after receiving and serving outpatients with clinical symptoms that are identical to an anti-extraction disease.

The findings of the case have been reported to the Pacitan Health Office (Dinkes). However, to ensure that the health office has carried out the protocol for handling the six patients.

Officers have also taken samples of wounds on the skin of a patient who suffered injuries similar to an anti-extraction case to be examined in the laboratory.

"From the results of the anamnesa (examination), the results of friends' visits, the environment also allows large exposure to livestock (antraks), so friends categorize the suspect", said Head of Disease Control and Prevention (P2P) of the PacitanNor Farida Health Office.

The allegation that the six patients suffered from BETraks was strengthened by the fact that they also raised cattle who were suspected of being exposed to the attack outbreak.

"This has recovered. But this case remains under the supervision of the Health Office. Send samples to BBVE (Balai Besar Veterinary) Wates, Yogyakarta," he said.
