JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta will reopen the Gatot Subroto LIPI Bus Stop, South Jakarta starting Friday, July 14 tomorrow. This bus stop has been closed since September 2022 due to revitalization.

Head of the Department of Public Relations and CSR of PT Transport Jakarta (Transjakarta) Wibowo said that the operation of this revitalized bus stop made it easier to access public mobility in using Transjakarta.

"Restrictions starting tomorrow can use this bus stop as usual. This bus stop comes with an increase for the convenience of the community, especially Transjakarta customers," Wibowo said in his statement, Thursday, July 13.

The Gatot Subroto LIPI bus stop serves corridor 9 with the Pluit 'Pinang Ranti route. After the revitalization, the capacity of the Transjakarta Gatot Subroto LIPI bus stop increased to 924 customers compared to the previous 138 customers.

"The two capacities are in both directions, both in the direction of Pinang Ranti and in the direction of Pluit," he said.

Another addition is also made to tap in machines and tap out so that it unravels customer queues, both those that enter and leave the bus stop. This bus stop also has two priority elevators for inclusive access that can be used by disabled customers.

"The comfort and security of customers is the main thing for us. Transjakarta will continue to be consistent in providing transportation services that facilitate the mobility of the people on a daily basis," he explained.

Previously, Transjakarta had also operated the Manggarai Bus Stop again since May 24. The newly revitalized bus stop is integrated with the Manggarai KRL Commuter Line Station.

The Transjakarta Manggarai bus stop serves Corridor 4 with the Pulogadung 2 - Dukuh Atas 2 route, the 4D Pulogadung 2 - Kuningan route, and the 6M route Manggarai Station - Blok M.

This bus stop is equipped with several facilities such as prayer rooms, public toilets, disabled toilets, digital signatures, passenger information systems (PIS), 24-hour surveillance cameras (CCTV), and elevator facilities that are currently under construction.
