JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) has evaluated the TransJakarta trial for the Kalideres Terminal route to Soekarno-Hatta Airport for a week since Wednesday (5/7).

"This has only been one week (trialed). After the data is collected, for one week, we will evaluate it later," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Syafrin Liputo as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 12.

Syafrin said that so far there have been no changes related to TransJakarta's new service, including two service times at 06.00-09.00 WIB.

"For the afternoon at 18.00-21.00 WIB. Then, these two weeks will be operated and later we will conduct an evaluation. Likewise the following week," said Syafrin.

Previously, the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono revealed, TransJakarta operated 10 low-dek (low entry) buses for the Soekarno Hatta-Terminal Kalideres Airport route with a passenger transport capacity of 2,500 people every day.

Heru said, with a capacity of one bus of 60 passengers, in a day TransJakarta buses bound for Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Soetta) to Kalideres Terminal and vice versa can carry up to 2,500 passengers.

"So, one day you can transport 2,500 (passengers) and this is if I look at the starting point from Kalideres to the airport, the need to use transportation is quite high," he said.

The travel time from Kalideres to Soetta Airport is estimated to be a maximum of 45 minutes for one trip, so it takes 90 minutes to get back and forth.
