JAKARTA - President Commissioner of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk, Ilham A. Habibie assessed that digital technology was the keyword during the COVID-19 pandemic, so he was sure that with the QRIS Code feature, Bank Muamalat would be more advanced.

"I am sure that with the QRIS Code feature, Bank Muamalat will be more advanced", said Ilham Habibie at the online launch of the QRIS Code Bank Muamalat in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday, January 28.

According to Ilham Habibie, currently, the keywords are things related to digital technology.

Ilham explained that banking and technology have always been an area that must be taken seriously because the more developing bank technology as one of the most basic and fundamental industries of an industry and a well-developed economy will definitely get its impact.

"We have to use digital technology according to its purpose. In this case, it makes it easier for us to transact, especially in conditions like what we are currently experiencing with the COVID-19 pandemic", he said.

Ilham also saw that this digital technology had benefits that had not been thought of before. This technology has been around for a long time, but in the past, it had not been seen as a context for minimizing health-related risks.
