BANYUASIN - Vice President (Vice President) Ma’ruf Amin reminded that the family is a miniature or smallest unit of society that participates in determining the greatness of a nation.

He said great youths grew up from children who were cared for and educated by strong families.
“ We remember President Soekarno once said ‘ gave me 10 young men who would surely shake the world ’. I also believe that the younger generation of Indonesia is able to produce works and achievements that shake the world. In the future they will become a generation capable of shaking the world, as said by the first President Soekarno,” said the Vice President.
At the event, the Vice President also handed over the award for the Satyalencana Pembangunan Award to the Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) Herman Deru, as stated in Presidential Decree Number 43/TK/2023, for his services to the state and society in the field of state development in general, or in the field of development of a certain field in particular.
