The Story Of Tired Doctor At Wisma Atlet Hospital, Working Harder Because Of Holiday Cluster

JAKARTA - There is a story from the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital, namely Dr. Nadhira Anindita Ralena, who tells about the struggle of herself and medical personnel to deal with the surge in COVID-19 patients.

The doctor, who is often called Dita, told about the COVID-19 patients at the Athlete's House experiencing a drastic increase in the period from January 5-15, 2021.

"The night of the past 7-14 days I turned upside down", wrote Dita, quoted by VOI from the blogging site Kompasiana, Monday, January 27.

Dita admitted that she had a chance to chat with one of the patients, asking about complaints and medical history. A patient admits that he and his colleagues from his office had just returned from a tour.

"They are colleagues who went on a vacation to Labuan Bajo, confidently because the results of the swab test are negative. As a result, they enjoyed the holiday with euphoria, and forgetting means that if the negative swab test results will be negative forever. That makes the medical personnel have to work harder", she said.

Dita and her health colleagues who were aware of the New Year tourism cluster could only shake their heads and sigh while saying, "Welcome to the holiday cluster".

Dita realizes that blaming one another is human nature, but it is no use in this situation. According to Dita, what is needed is only public awareness. Because day by day positive cases will continue to grow. While some other countries have started to slope, the COVID-19 graph in Indonesia continues to rise up and down the mountain top.

Doctor Dita also wrote several messages to the public.

"You are advised not to be ignorant and careless. How many more patients suffer, how much longer do we have to continue like this? Real holiday cluster. Real family cluster. All this is REAL and SERIOUS", she concluded.

Covid-19 Cases Translucent Over 1 Million

As reported by Antara, health workers walked towards the COVID-19 patient treatment room at the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital (RSD), Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Jakarta, Tuesday, January 26.

The Central Covid-19 Handling Task Force announced that as of Tuesday, January 26 at 15.55 WIB, there were an additional 13,094 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 so that it was perfect to have taken 1,012,350 cases in Indonesia.
