Head of the Cartenz Peace Task Force Kombes Pol. Faizal Rahmadani stated that the threat related to the shooting of the Susi Air pilot who was held hostage by the KKB did not come from Egianus Kogoya.

From the investigation, it was revealed that the threat of shooting at the New Zealand pilot Philip was not from Egianus.

"It is suspected that the threat was carried out by the KKB group led by Jefry Pagawak, who is currently suspected of living in Papua New Guinea (PNG)," said Dansatgas Damai Cartenz Kombes Faizal in Jayapura as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 3.

The threat of shooting the Susi Air pilot was first uploaded to an account on behalf of NT and NT, which is the Intan Jaya group.

"The group is only looking for sensations and what other KKB groups are doing and are not part of Egianus Kogoya's KKB group," explained Faizal.

Kasatgas explained that in Papua there were several KKB groups and those who conveyed the death threat against Pilot Susi Air were not from the Egianus Kogoya group but from the Jefry Pagawak group.

"The condition of the Susi Air Pilot until Sunday (2/7) is in good health and the negotiation process initiated by the Papua Police Chief and the Military Commander together with stakeholders, both from the church and local governments, is still ongoing," explained Faizal.

The Susi Air pilot has been held hostage since February 7 shortly after landing his plane in Paro, Nduga Regency, Papua Mountains.

The KKB led by Egianus also burned Susi Air's plane.
