Apart from PM James Marape, President Jokowi will meet with governors generals and business actors while attending Indonesia and Papua New Guinea's first business forums.

Previously, PM James Marape made an official visit to the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, on March 31, 2022.

During the official visit, the two leaders exchanged views on the importance of strengthening connectivity between the two countries, both on land, sea, and air.

President Jokowi hopes that opportunities for Indonesian construction companies to build connectivity and infrastructure facilities in Papua New Guinea will be wider.
