NAGAN RAYA - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh, together with the TNI-Polri found the victim drowned in the Krueng Nagan River named Said Azali Fitri in a dead condition. The body was found today at around 14.30 WIB. "The victim's body was found in a river in Blang Sapek Village, Suka Makmue District, or about 15 kilometers from where the victim was reported drowned," said Head of BPBD Nagan Raya Irfanda Rinadi in Suka Makmue, quoted from Antara, Sunday, July 2. Victim Said Azali Fitri is listed as a resident of Gunong Pungki Village, Tadu Raya District, Nagan Raya Regency. "The victim was previously reported to have drowned in a river area in Pulo Teungoh Village, East Seunagan District, Nagan Raya Regency last Friday," he said. According to him, previously Said Azali Fitri said goodbye to the burial pilgrimage place at the Pekubur Complex in Pulo Teungoh, East Seunagan District, Nagan Raya Regency. "To be able to access the cemetery complex, every pilgrim must cross the Krueng Nagan River," he said. Previously, said Irfanda Rinadi, the family had banned the victim from going to the Kenduri location, because at that time it was raining heavily and the weather was bad. However, the victim continued to go to the kenduri location and was allegedly lost in the current of the Krueng Nagan River. After a search was carried out, the victim was found dead on Sunday afternoon. "Currently, the officers have succeeded in evacuating the victim's body. Furthermore, the victim's body was handed over to the family,” according to Irfanda Rinadi.
