Jokowi Is Happy That People's Trust In The Police Will Increase Again

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is happy because the level of public trust in the National Police has increased again. The 60 percent figure is now above 70 percent.

This was conveyed by Jokowi when giving a mandate at the 77th Commemoration of Bhayangkara Day at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Central Jakarta, Saturday, July 1.

"I am happy that people's trust in the National Police has increased from 60 percent to above 70 percent," Jokowi said in front of the Police.

This increase in people's trust is something good. However, Jokowi asked the Police to continue to improve and reform in all lines.

Not only that, improvements must also be made because the community continues to monitor the Police. So, Jokowi advised the Bhayangkara Corps to be careful and carry out its duties well.

"Every time members of the National Police come into contact with the people, protect the community, protect the community, and serve the community. However, at the same time the Police are also supervised by the people," said the former governor of DKI Jakarta.

"Be careful, now everything can be recorded, disseminated. The slightest steps of the Police cannot be covered up again," he concluded.
