Even Though He Is Already Married, This Man Admits He Can't Stop Seeing His Nephew While Sleeping

SERANG - Serang Police Satreskrim arrested one of the perpetrators of sexual abuse of minors, with the initials NU (28) a resident of Pudar Village, Pamarayan District, Serang Regency. It is known that NU raped his cousin while sleeping.

This odd worker was arrested by personnel of the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) assisted by the Serang Police Mobile Investigation Team (Resmob) at a relative's house in the Kresek District, Tangerang Regency, on Tuesday, June 27, evening.

The Deputy Chief of Serang Police, Kompol Rifki Seftianan, explained that the case of the forced assault that happened to this 14-year-old girl occurred on Thursday, June 1 at around 15.00. In the afternoon, the victim was sleeping in his room in Pudar Village.

"Because at home there were only victims, the suspect entered the room and then loved his cousin who was lying on the bed," Rifki said via text message, Thursday, June 28.

Feeling that his body was shaking, the victim woke up immediately and tried to avoid going to the corner of the bed. However, the suspect, who did not hold back the lust, caught up and then smothered and threatened not to fight back.

"Around being afraid of threats, the victim could only cry when his cousin vented his lust. After venting his lust, the suspect again threatened not to report the incident to his parents," said Rifki.

Rifki said, after the incident the victim felt pain in his genitals. Because he was not strong, the victim told his parents. Receiving a report from his son, the family did not accept and report the case to the Serang Police Headquarters on Thursday, June 15.

"Knowing that he had been reported, the suspect tried to escape by hiding in another relative's house in the Kresek area, Tangerang," explained Rifki.

Armed with reports and post-mortem results, PPA Unit personnel assisted by the Resmob Team immediately hunted down the suspect at his house but could not be found. After receiving information that the suspect was in Tangerang, the joint team led by Ipda Iwan Rudini immediately moved.

"The suspect was arrested at his relative's house at around 21.00 and then taken to the Serang Police Headquarters for examination," he explained.

To the officers, NU, who was known to be married and had one child, admitted that he made a mistake and could not hold back his lust when he saw his cousin's body lying in his room.

"I made a mistake because I couldn't stand to see my cousin's sister's body lying sleeping in the room. Incidentally, at home there was no one else, so I was forced to vent my lust," he admitted.

As a result of his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 81 Paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 82 Paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 17 of 2016 with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
