JAKARTA - A body suspected of being the body of a baby was found by residents in the Cipinang river, RT 06/07, Makasar Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta on Tuesday, June 27, afternoon.

Then residents reported to the Makassar Police and East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officers for the evacuation process.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Makassar Police, Iptu M Zen, confirmed the information on the discovery of the baby's body floating in the river. His party also dispatched members of the Makassar Police Criminal Investigation Unit to the scene.

Meanwhile, the baby's body was evacuated by officers from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman said his party was still carrying out the process of evacuating victims.

"We have deployed a rescue team to evacuate the baby's body from Cipinang River, Makasar District," said Gatot.
