279 Officers Ready To Badaljjarize Congregants To Die And Be Obstacled

MEKKAH - Saudi Arabia's Hajj Organizing Officer (PPIH) has prepared 279 hajj badal officers who are ready to accommodate Hajj participants because they died or were unable to carry out wif.

Head of the Guidance Division of the Saudi Arabian PPIH Service, Suratman, said that there were three groups of hajj participants who would be converted, namely the first, pilgrims who died, both pilgrims who died in the embarkation on their way to Saudi Arabia or who died before wusuf.

"This has taken ablution tomorrow, we have collected data," said Suratman at the Saudi Arabian PPIH Working Area Office, reported by ANTARA, Monday, June 26.

He explained that nine people died in the embarkation, plus one special Hajj person, then 154 people died in Saudi Arabia until Monday afternoon (26/6) Saudi Arabia's time.

The second, said Suratman, is a congregation who is medically in a hospital, both currently being treated at an Indonesian Hajj health clinic (KKHI) and at a Saudi Arabian hospital.

"That's for those who can't be disafariwukufkan, so they will be converted. Now for this data collection, the data is still moving, so until now there is no certainty of numbers and the numbers cannot be released yet," he said.

The third group, said Suratman, is a congregation suffering from dementia, because they meet the requirements for the pilgrimage according to sharia or Regulation of the Minister of Religion No. 13 of 2021 concerning the implementation of regular Hajj services.

He said data collection on the second and third groups of bad hajj pilgrims was still being carried out until the time before wukuf.

The Ministry of Religion has recruited badal hajj officers and according to the provisions, only one hajj badal can be done for one congregation.

"Sharialy, they only receive one badal hajj officer. So one person cannot receive more than one badal person," he said.

According to him, badal hajj officers were not appointed carelessly, because there was a selection and registered with the PPIH of Saudi Arabia, with at least two requirements, namely having carried out the pilgrimage and being a PPIH Saudi Arabian officer or support staff.

"Private hajj officers are asked to document the implementation of the badal hajj and for the pilgrims who are converted, they will be given a certificate from us. Just for the congregation," concluded Suratman.
