SURABAYA - The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) of East Java through the Blitar Class II Immigration office finally deported a Singaporean citizen with the initials MB who previously became a lecturer at the University in Tulungagung, via Juanda International Airport, Surabaya.

Head of Immigration Division of the East Java Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office, Hendro Tri Prasetyo, said that MB was escorted by four Blitar immigration officers carrying brown backpacks.

"The person concerned was deported using a flight with 3K248 Jetstar airline to Singapore," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, June 22.

Hendro explained that the entire deportation process was carried out in accordance with the applicable laws and SOPs and plane ticket fees, which were borne by MB's sponsor or personal.

"MB finances tickets to return to Singapore alone, we only deliver them to Juanda International Airport," said Head of Immigration Enforcement Subsidy, Dendy Wibisono, who led the Deportation implementation Team from the Inteldakim Section of the Class II Non-TPI Blitar Immigration Office.

Immigration will also provide other administrative sanctions, namely inclusion in the deterrence list.

"Kediri Immigration Office has also issued an official report on the cancellation of travel documents, namely the passport concerned," he said

Before being deported, MB first went through a clarification process at the Juanda Airport Immigration Checkpoint to ensure the validity of MB's travel documents.

"So even though the status is as a deportation, MB still has to go through a clarification process. And the clarification process so that the boarding runs smoothly, there are no obstacles whatsoever," said Dendy.

Dendy explained that MB was in good health despite complaining of fever.

"Before departing from Blitar, we have also ensured that MB is healthy and able to travel to Singapore," said Dendy.
