JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo emphasized the importance of synchronizing between government organizations, both in the provincial government and regional governments, or in collaboration between the two. This is important to realize regional harmonization.

This was conveyed by Ganjar when sharing his experiences with regents throughout Indonesia who are members of the Association of Indonesian Regency Governments (APKASI) at Hotel Trio Azana Style, Jalan HM Sarbini, Kebumen, Central Java, Thursday, June 22.

The event, which was attended by the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian, also shared the experience of managing the region. Especially when synergizing with 35 Regents/Mayors during the two periods leading Central Java.

"So the taste of APKASI is good at evaluating it, sharing experiences, sharing stories, and the importance of synchronization, harmonization," said Ganjar.

According to Ganjar, there is a crucial momentum for regional managers to create harmonization. One of them is after the change of leadership or management after the Regional Head Election (Pilkada).

"If next year we can hold general elections, both presidential, legislative elections, regional heads, and the DPRD are good, then in 2024 it will be a good momentum to synchronize, harmonize," said Ganjar.

With synchronization and harmonization that goes well in the government, said Ganjar, regional managers will know important priority programs to be carried out down to the sub-district level to RT/RW.

Apart from knowing, said Ganjar, all ranks under regional managers will also carry out these programs together.

"Of course, in the end, we will know more about the programs in the Regency and City, all priority ones will be the same," said Ganjar.

"Support at the provincial level is like, what kind of support from the center. So that it becomes a national target even in the same ranks as the implementation," he continued.

Ganjar hopes that synchronization and harmonization between regional managers can create regional welfare. So that people can feel the benefits.

"Hopefully, from the 23-year-old APKASI, we can really share the good experiences of the Regent who can become a regional head, he can really prosper his region," concluded Ganjar.

For information, during his two terms leading Central Java, Ganjar won the Provincial award with the Implementation of the 2023 National Best Regional Government from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri). Central Java won a score of 3,714 with the highest local government performance status.
