JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo ordered to take action against AKP Supai Warna (SW) ethically and criminally for defrauding the porridge, Wahidin, worth Rp. 310 million with the recruitment mode of police officers. However, on the other hand, there was a revocation of the police report (LP).

This hundreds of millions of fraud case began when Wahidin spoke with SW regarding his interest in making his son a member of the National Police, considering that they are neighbors living in Kejuden Village, Depok District, Cirebon Regency.

After Wahidin told the story, then AKP SW, whose last position as Deputy Head of Community Guidance at the Cirebon Police, gave directions and promised to introduce N, who is an ASN at the National Police Headquarters.

Then between AKP SW, Wahidin, and N, we met to take care of all the needs in recruiting as members of the National Police, in 2021. However, there are conditions that must be met, namely paying Rp310 million.

However, the promise made by AKP SW did not come true. This is because Wahidin's son was declared dead or did not pass the selection for the recruitment of Polri members.

Wahidin also asked for the money back. However, AKP SW and N did not accept it.

Therefore, Wahidin reported the matter. Until finally, AKP SW and N were named suspects.

Shortly thereafter, the case caught the attention of many parties, including the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. In fact, he firmly ordered the Head of the Propam Division to fire and criminalize AKP SW.

"I still hear that even though it happened last year, but the crowd now involves the rank of AKP. So, like this, don't happen again and I order the Head of the Propam Division to process, fire and criminalize," said Sigit.

AKP SW's actions are considered to have tarnished the image of the Police. Moreover, Sigit does not want the recruitment process to be tainted with naughty practices.

"Because we don't want recruitment, especially colored by transactions. We want this member to be obtained through the right process," he said.

In fact, Sigit ordered his staff to thoroughly investigate such cases. Including, other elements who receive deposits from illegal levies (extortion) mode of recruitment of police officers.

"So if there is a transaction looking from upstream to downstream, we will definitely process it. Keep the image of the Police, our struggle is of course very difficult," said Sigit.

Shortly after the order from the National Police Chief, Wahidin decided to withdraw his report at the Cirebon City Police. The reason is that there has been a peace agreement with AKP SW

"We have forgiven each other and the justice I have been looking for has been obtained," said Wahidin.

He said the revocation of this report was based on a mutual agreement without any coercion from either party.

According to him, the efforts he has been fighting for from 2021 have now paid off because he has given his rights after the peace process took place.

Wahidin revealed that his party was gracefully accepting the apology from AKP SW.

"Yes, for reports to the (West Java) Regional Police and the Cirebon City Police, I will withdraw them because a mutual agreement has been made," said Wahidin.
