Police Arrest Perpetrators Pedophilia In Garut

JAKARTA - A young man in Tarogong Kidul Subdistrict, Garut Regency, became the target of a mob on charges of molesting a minor.

Luckily the police came quickly to the location. So that the young man was saved from the anger of the masses who were annoyed with the perpetrator.

Tarogong Kidul Police Criminal Investigation Committee Ipda Wahyono Aji confirmed that there was a young pedophile who was successfully arrested, to then be handed over to the Garut Police Women and Children Protection Unit.

"It has been secured, currently the case has been handled by the PPA Unit of the Garut Police," Wahyono Aji told reporters as reported by Antara, Tuesday, January 26.

He said the perpetrator with the initials LR (24) was arrested after reports from the public regarding the youth's actions were in his village, Tarogong Kidul District.

A number of police together with community leaders tried to bring the perpetrators down. The police repeatedly asked the masses to resign and not to take action against the perpetrators.

Wahyono said the case was revealed when a girl who was the victim of the perpetrator reported it to her parents.

"There is a child who claims to have been molested by the suspect to his parents," said Wahyono.

The perpetrators were then taken to undergo further legal examinations, including finding out the number of children who were victims.
