Often Makes Noise, 6 Teenagers Armed With Sharp Security Are Secured From Three Districts In Central Jakarta

A total of 6 teenagers were arrested by the police while involved in a brawl between residents on Jalan Kartini XVIII, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta. They were arrested along with a number of sharp weapons.

Kapolsek Sawah Besar, AKP Dhanar Dhono Vernandhie confirmed that his staff had secured the perpetrators of the brawl.

"We have secured 6 because they wanted to fight," said AKP Dhanar when confirmed, Monday, June 19.

The perpetrators were arrested by officers after receiving reports from residents regarding the frequent commotion in various sub-districts.

"Receiving the report, the police immediately responded and secured 6 teenagers, evidence of a sickle type knife was secured," he said.

In addition, a brawl also occurred on a connecting bridge located on Jalan Kramat IV Ujung Jembatan Trem, between Kwitang and the Menteng area, Central Jakarta.

Menteng Metro Police Chief AKBP Samian confirmed the incident. According to him, the brawl was successfully driven away by a team of three pillars who received information about the brawl.

"It's true, but it can be driven away by three-pillar patrols," he said.

The brawl occurred between two groups of residents from different sub-districts.

"It was a brawl between residents," he said.
