PDIP Calls NTB People Not Pandai Grateful If They Don't Choose Ganjar

The chairman of the DPD of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) West Nusa Tenggara, Rachmat Hidayat, said that the NTB people were not good at being grateful if they did not vote for Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election.

"In the past, Pak Jokowi lost twice in NTB. But we are still supported (supporting). Now Mr. Ganjar doesn't win, we are people who don't know ourselves and are grateful for his name," said Rachmat Hidayat during a consolidation meeting attended by presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo at the PDIP DPD Office in Mataram, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, June 18.

Rachmat said that in the two presidential elections (Pilpres) after 2014 and 2019 Jokowi always lost in NTB. However, despite losing to the number one person in Indonesia, he still pays attention and support to NTB. Even President Jokowi's attention, exceeded other provinces in Indonesia.

He then said that the development of a number of national infrastructures was built in NTB. Therefore, if NTB people do not choose Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 Pilres whose incident continues Jokowi's program, the NTB people are not good at being grateful.

For this reason, Rachmat emphasized that he would work together with all cadre and sympathizers to target a vote victory for Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election to 51 percent.

"We will try 51 percent for Ganjar Pranowo, there is no need to be grandiose," he said.

To achieve that target, he promised not to hesitate to give strict sanctions for dismissal if any of his cadres did not really win Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election.

"If I don't do it, if I know I must sign the dismissal. As soon as I submit it to my mother (Megawati, ed) immediately fired, so don't play games," he said.
