MEKKAH - The Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) mapped out the congregation's movement scheme and facility preparation such as the addition of toilets, sand compactification, and the installation of air conditioning in Masyair ahead of the peak of the pilgrimage.

Head of Protection for Jamaah PPIH Saudi Arabia Harun Ar Rashid said he had mapped out the movement scheme and preparation of facilities for pilgrims during the implementation of the peak Hajj which began on Dzulhijjah 8th.

"Congregants will start moving on 8 Dzulhijjah, but since 6 Dzulhijjah, the predecessor team has departed to ensure their readiness," Harun said in Arafah, Saudi Arabia, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, June 16.

He said the congregation would depart from the hotel to Arafah on Dzulhijjah 8 starting at 07.00 Saudi Arabian Time (WAS) until the estimated completion was 22.00 WAS.

After the night, on the 9th of Dzulhijjah, the congregation will conduct a wif in Arafah starting at 12.00 WAS until the afternoon.

Harun said there would be 70 maktab from Jalan 902 to Jalan 910 with even numbers.

One maktab in Arafah and Mina consists of 7 batches or about 3 thousand people who will be handled by 11adhoc containing 48-50 officers.

In the evening, starting at 19.30 WAS the congregation will move towards Muzdalifah and it is targeted that all pilgrims will be in Muzdalifah no later than 23.00 WAS.

"Officers combed every congregational tent to the Jabal Rahmah toilet and hill to ensure that all pilgrims had been transported to Muzdalifah," he said.

Last night at Muzdalifah, the congregation will be moved again to Mina and on the 10th Dzulhijjah will be all in Mina to win and throw a sumrah for 3 or 4 nights.

Harun said there were two options for the congregation to throw the jumrah, if they took the initial nafar, they would spend the night in Mina for 3 nights and if they took nafar tsani it would be big at Mina for 4 nights.

According to him, the distance from Mina to the location of the throwing number is about 3-7 km.

"We urge the congregation to ensure their health condition, there is no need to force them because to throw a summah can be represented by other healthy pilgrims," he said.

Harun also reminded the congregation that when in Arafah the water supply was quite limited so they had to be water efficient and patiently queue in the toilet.
