Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo was appointed as a resource person for Sharing Session for Regional Development 2023, which was held by the Indonesian National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Wednesday, June 14.
Ganjar is considered successful in bringing Central Java a hat-trick to the award as the first best province in the Regional Development Award (PPD) Bappenas RI.
The activities that took place offline and online were attended by 38 provinces, 22 regencies/cities, the Indonesian Ombudsman, the PPD Assessment Team, and stakeholders related to regional development in Indonesia.
In his presentation, the white-haired politician told the development process of Central Java which started from planning by involving all elements of society, including women, people with disabilities, to children.
According to him, development programs in Central Java are not only focused on infrastructure physical development, but also on improving public welfare and health. These include preventing stunting, maternal and infant mortality rates, early marriage, and religioritas.

"We include all our proposals, then the political process to the council (DPRD). Because our APBD is limited, there needs to be education and decisions based on a priority scale," he explained.
In addition, Ganjar revealed that the government's work requires creative and innovative power. In Central Java, for example, there is an OPD assistance program for one poor village, one OPD one innovation, schools for poor students, and so on.
"We take advantage of for example the Krenova (creativity and innovation) as a stimulant of innovation. Currently there are around 559 OPD innovations. ASN friends need to be forced to innovate, but they are happy to be forced," he said.
On that occasion, the Governor of Central Java for two periods also mentioned the effective "Central Java Gayeng Nginceng Wong Meteng" to reduce stunting, maternal and infant mortality rates.
